Bell's Story

Bell and her siblings were born in rescue on July 5th! Now old enough to find her own home, little Miss Bell is ready to head out on her own! Since they have been raised in a rescue home, she has already become a little spoiled and loves to give and receive affection. She uses papers at this point for potty, but has received enough puppy shots to now begin outside potty training and leash walking with her new family.

Breed? Well, that is a good question. All we know for sure is that her momma is small (under 10 pounds) and resembles a dachshund/chihuahua mix with some wire-haired something (JRT)?) thrown in. All other dogs that we are aware of in the surrender home were also small breeds, so we do expect her to be under 20 pounds as well. Bell has never met a cat so it would probably be a learning process for her. She loves the people, however! Like all puppies, she needs to work on her good skills, and be re-directed to appropriate toys for chewing, etc. She is not yappy for no reason, but she is vocal when playing or demanding attention. She would make a great family dog for someone looking to introduce a puppy into their home

Coastal Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Out of Area Coastal Pet Rescue does not ship or "transport" animals out of area. All adopters must be available to come to Savannah, GA to complete the adoption after approval. Microchip: CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. Adoption Fees: Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
