Beignet's Story

Apply at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IBRI/Dog

Age: 3 Months Sex: Female
Breed: Brown/White Tricolor Chihuahua Mix
Estimated Adult Weight: 10 lbs +\-

Beignet is a cheerful, petite girl. She came to us emaciated and sick, just a little over one pound. She found the cush life inside a house very agreeable; regular food, lots of love, with other doggies and kitties to play with. Her life was looking up. Now she is a healthy weight and game to do anything.

Beignet will always be pocket-pup size so will be a great companion for wherever your travels take you. She is used to living with friendly dogs and cats. She has a big personality and likes to be in the center of the action, whether that is snuggling, exploring, chewing or racing. When Beignet is up and on the go, she’s a good-time gal; when it’s nap time, she wants a warm lap to snuggle in.

Like all puppies, she will need consistency and patience to guide her to be her best canine self. Beignet would do best in a low to moderately active home with children over 10 years old.

Adopting a puppy is a huge commitment. Puppies will potty, teethe, scratch, and chew; they take a lot of work to become the ideal family member. Please consider the time and patience that you and your family will have to invest before considering adopting.

*All Itsie Bitsie Puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, dewormed, and vet-checked.

IBR requires landlord permission for renters and a yard check for all puppies. We do not adopt out siblings. Please allow volunteers a few days to look over applications. An adoption fee applies. Volunteers will CALL if your application is selected for a phone interview.
