Meet Beezus
Meet Beezus!
Quick facts:
Breed: There is nothing factual here, but her momma seems to be some form of Rottweiler mix, but we believe she might also be mixed with hound and Shepard. We expect she will grow to be about a medium-sized dog
Age: 9 months (As of December 2022)
House Trained: Yes and will alert you when she needs to go outside. She is doggy door trained as well.
Crate trained: Beezus will kennel on command (girlfriend loves treats!!) but is fairly vocal about you leaving and takes about 10 minutes to settle. She is currently in an heavy duty crate to avoid any escape artist tendencies. Works like a charm!
Beezus came into the rescue with her sister, Ramona, and mom, Quimby, when they escaped life on a chain (and padlocked!) with minimal human interaction. Only knowing the life confined to a backyard doghouse, and what she learned of the neighborhood when she continued to get loose, the whole family has adjusted well to their foster homes.
Beezus has a bit of a reputation of being an escape artist prior to being rescued, but has cashed in her former-life for comfy couches and snuggles with her humans. She wants to be your adventure partner and loves to walk, hike and would be an amazing running buddy! She loves to adventure to breweries and the WWC to meet other pups.
Beezus loves other dogs and lives to romp around with her furry foster brother. She speaks “dog” very well and will listen when they give her hints to chill (as she is often put into her place by her foster brother). She has never met a cat but absolutely adores kids. You can often find her napping on the couch with her human foster siblings (ages 4&6).
Her favorite time of day is meal time and she does the best dance when it’s time to eat. Her foster family has taught her "sit", "shake" and "lay down" and continues to work on basic manners (jumping, etc). She is truly the sweetest and goofiest girl. She loves her people hard, are you her forever family?
