I am being fostered in Lincoln, NE.<br/><br/>My life is looking a little different nowadays, and it's for the better. <br/>I am getting more comfortable around my humans as long as rhey are patient and slow approaching.<br/>I love the other dogs in the house and seek them out to play or for snuggles. My dog friends are teaching me a lot.<br/><br/>I love chewing! It's my new favorite pastime. I'm still learning what is and is not “acceptable” to chew on—these humans can be so particular.<br/><br/>I would rather not sleep in my kennel. I'm very good in it, but if you're home, I want to be right next to you!<br/><br/>I'm still learning what it's like to have rules and boundaries along with my freedom. <br/><br/>I have energy to burn and a curious personality. I'm ready to experience life to the fullest!<br/><br/>I love this new life, but long to have a home of my very own with a family who will be mine forever—a place where I can feel safe and loved for the rest of my days. I'm looking for someone kind, fun-loving, and patient—someone who will take me on adventures during the day, but will love to curl up and snuggle at night. This is my shot to get all the love and freedom I deserve (and more!). So, if you think you have what it takes, I look forward to meeting you!<br/><br/>Here are some things you need to know about me:<br/>Housetrained? I'm working on it!<br/>Leash-trained? I don't mind being on a leash, but going for a walk is still a struggle for me.<br/>Rides well in the car? Yes!<br/>Good with other dogs? Absolutely! I would actually prefer having a dog sibling in my new home.<br/>Good with cats? Yep!<br/>Good with young children? As long as we can get to know each other calmly and quietly, I would love to have a kiddo around.<br/>Good with strangers? It still takes me a little time to feel comfortable with new people.<br/>Shy or confident? A little bit of both!<br/>Barks? Only at that pesky dog in this thing called “a reflection.” I don't know who she is, but she really makes me mad.<br/>Apartment-qualified? Yes, but not until I'm properly leash-trained.<br/>Any special needs or health issues? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
