Beauty's Story
Meet Beauty!

If you looking for a sweet and agile velcro dog, Miss Bea is definitely one to consider! She is an energetic girl who enjoys running around and exploring. She seems interested in other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a confident older dog to show her the ropes.

She gets very nervous in new situations and when meeting new people. Her first instinct is to run and hide. Since she is so lithe, she can get herself into small and unexpected places very quickly, so her owners will need to take measures to keep her safe.

She is a smart girl; she is already learning "sit" and "down". She has a really great natural recall with people that she trusts, that would just need to be reinforced as she grows. She is potty trained, but she will void her bladder is something very scary happens.

Bea is very food motivated and biddable. As of yet, she has shown no interest in toys (but a toy-drive could be built over time to give her outlets for her energy).

She can relax in her crate overnight or while you are at work, but she doesn't love being in there and will let you know that for the first few minutes.

Bea would do best with patient owners who are committed to training her through her fears. We promise, she is worth the effort!

Origin Story:
She and ger sister (Blanca) were surrendered to us by their owner. They part of a litter from a pet dog (for whom we will be offering spay services). They lived with a large group of dogs.

Female
DOB: 12/4
Lab/Shepherd/ + mix
23 lbs (currently)

---------------------------------------------------
Interested in adopting?
