Beauredog's Story
Beauredog, Unfortunately Sentient

Beauredog is a 2-year-old, 56-pound tri-color American Bully mix built like he could collect a debt while possessing absolutely no idea what a debt is.

He is a magnificent unit. Broad chest. Giant head. Serious face. The physical composition of a nightclub bouncer, except Beauredog would be terrible at that job because somebody would say "who's a handsome boy?" and security would immediately be compromised.

At 2, he has successfully exited the larval goblin era and emerged as an extremely lovable adult gentleman with only trace quantities of goblin remaining for recreational purposes. He's playful, affectionate, food motivated, loves tennis balls and chew bones, and manages to have fun without behaving like he was raised inside a trampoline park.

Beauredog is crate trained, knows "kennel up," is nearly house trained, and is working on his leash skills. He's smart and wonderfully trainable, particularly if your pedagogical methodology involves snacks. His commitment to higher education is directly proportional to the presence of deli meat.

He's dog friendly and does well with older, respectful kids. Cats are a no. No beef, no manifesto, just incompatible programming. We appreciate a man with clearly delineated boundaries.

For all the visual evidence suggesting he may own an unlicensed pawn shop, Beauredog is ridiculously sweet. He loves his people, wants affection, and is basically a tender little guy trapped inside the chassis of someone named Big Tone.

He's neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, handsome as hell, and sitting at the extremely advantageous intersection of built different and actually delightful.

Beauredog looks like he knows a guy.

He does not know a guy. He would, however, very much like to know you.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
