Needs slow and proper introduction<br/>House trained: Yes<br/>Crate trained: Yes<br/>Energy level: He is a true bulldog who loves to do an occasional zoomie in the yard and then curl up next to his person inside and take a long nap<br/>Can be handled/touched: Yes - loves it<br/>Barker: No<br/>Flight risk: All dogs should be considered a flight risk initially<br/>Food aggressive: No<br/>Current food: old Roy kibble<br/>Walks on leash: Yes, walks well<br/>Leash reactive to people or dogs: No<br/>Rides well in car: Yes<br/>Destructive: No<br/>Needs a home with a yard: he would prefer that<br/>Needs a home with another dog: No<br/>Can live in an apartment: Possibly with appropriate exercise but not ideal<br/><br/>History:<br/>Beaumont was rescued from a local kill shelter, after he was left abandoned in a home with 5 others dogs, whose owners were evicted<br/><br/>Other important info:<br/>Beaumont is a true Southern gentleman. As a gentleman, he is on good behavior in all situations. He doesn’t chew things that are off limits, but loves to a good dog appropriate chew or bone. All people would be fine from children to adults. He’s been cat tested but every cat is different, so a cautious approach would be best. He sleeps in a crate at night and really enjoys it. He’s quiet in the crate, in the house, or in the yard.<br/><br/>Beaumont will most likely charm everyone he meets. He is good on a leash and will enjoy walks with his favorite human or simply relaxing in the yard (fenced) or snuggling on the couch. Beaumont has not had an easy life but he’s not bitter or fearful. His demeanor and personality make him an excellent companion His real life will begin when he meets his forever family. Everyone who meets him, adores him.
