Beau

Talk about BIG beagle energy-Meet Beau! Beau is a 2-year-old tri-colored Beagle with the cutest mischievous face, incredible and a personality that is guaranteed to keep you laughing. His DOB is 9/26/23 and his weight is 28 pounds. Beau came to us as an owner surrender because he’s an escape artist extraordinaire. Because of this, a secure physical fenced-in yard is required.

Beau is everything you love about a Beagle: loyal, friendly, wicked smart, energetic, and ALWAYS ready for an adventure! His nose is constantly working, and his face often says, "I’m up to something... can you figure out what?"

This happy little guy loves chasing tennis balls and would likely have a blast trying agility or other fun activities. He can pull on walks, so he’ll need a family ready to keep working on his leash manners.

He is reported to be crate trained and housetrained and will happily go into his crate when you say, "cage." He’s good with dogs and children, with children 10+ preferred. A meet-and-greet with any resident dog is required. Beau has had no exposure to cats. He will also happily chase rabbits and deer. Beau is not neutered yet and currently marks. He will wear a belly band in the house, and we expect the marking to improve after neutering.

Beau is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program! You can welcome him into your home while he completes his vaccines, microchip, heartworm testing, and neuter.

Ready to meet this one BIG Beagle personality?
