Beau Beau's Story
Meet Beau Beau!

Beau is a charming little bully mix with a heart full of affection and a personality that's simply irresistible. He came to FMAR as a stray from Sumpter, and while his past is a bit of a mystery, one thing is for sure-he's the definition of cuteness! With his stubby little legs, pigeon-toed feet, and a few battle scars, Beau's sweet and gentle spirit shines through.

Beau absolutely loves spending time in the yard with his handlers, always seeking out affection and belly rubs. He's made great progress with his leash manners and now walks beautifully with a nose loop slip lead. He's also made significant strides in his reactions to other dogs while on walks, and we're confident that with continued practice, he'll keep improving. Despite his playful nature, Beau is a low-key guy who's content with a couple of daily walks and a cozy spot on the couch for movie marathons and naps.

He will need an experienced, confident handler who understands canine body language and can manage his space carefully. He has shown reactivity toward both unfamiliar people and other animals, so a home without other pets and with slow, structured introductions to new people will be essential for his success

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate dog who enjoys both playtime and quiet moments, Beau Beau just might be the perfect match for you!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you would like to meet Beau Beau, please submit an application for him on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. He is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of the medical care he has received.

**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
