Beatrix's Story

Oh my goodness, Beatrix. Cute much? It’s hard to believe she’s even cuter in person!

Left behind when her previous people moved away, this approximately 1-year-old Border Collie mix is approximately 55 lbs. Her estimated DOB March 2025. She is doing beautifully in foster care, learning all the things a young dog should know. While she can be initially shy with new experiences, Border Collies are smart and Beatrix is no exception. This gal is something special.

Her foster mom shared:

• Beatrix is in training to work on manners and learns quickly.
• She is very food motivated and eager to please.
• She is nervous around strangers at first but warms up quickly.
• Beatrix would do best with an active family (she loves walks) and a fenced yard.
• She would also do best with another dog in the home.
• Once comfortable, B is cuddly, affectionate, and loves staying by your side. Belly rubs are her favorite!
• She loves her stuffies, too.
• She is dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare.
• She is house trained and kennel trained.
• We do not know how she is with cats.

Beatrix is ready for her forever family, who will give her the love and guidance she deserves. If you’re good, she’ll even train you how to rub her belly just the way she likes.

Are you ready to welcome fun and affection to your life?
