Beatrice's Story

Beatrice is a 4-year-old brindle Boxer who is learning how good life can be. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was underweight, scared, and unsure of her surroundings. She spent her time tucked in the back of her kennel, head down and trembling. With patience, consistency, and gentle care from staff and volunteers, Beatrice has begun to blossom.

Over time, she gained enough confidence to come forward and venture out of her kennel, and her personality is slowly starting to emerge. Beatrice is sweet, a little goofy, and sometimes still unsure, but she is making steady progress every day.

She currently weighs around 40 pounds and has healthy weight still to gain. Slow and steady progress has been working well for her

Beatrice walks gently on a leash, though she appears to be inexperienced and is still building confidence. With the right family, she has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion
