Beary Berries's Story
Pay no attention to breed here. Ms. Bearie is a mix of so many that we stopped counting at 15 breeds. Let's just say that Bearie brings the best of ALL the breeds with her. Ms. Bearie Berries is 75 lbs, and is about 5 years old. She is crate-trained and house-trained. She also walks well on the leash and is just wonderful with people of all ages, including kids.

Although Bearie is very bonded to her daughter Blue Berries, she is dog-selective otherwise. Her reaction to other dogs depends a lot on the other dog.

Bearie Berries is part of a bonded pair, so she will need to be adopted with her daughter Blue Berries. Ms. Blue is a similar size and is listed for adoption as well.

Interested in becoming a forever home for Bearie Berries and Blue Berries? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs — for them, one application will be fine. Because we have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, your application may be missed if you only apply once.

Find more adoptable pets, news, and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting.

We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Beary Berries and Blue Berries the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.

All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
