Bear FOREVER FOSTER NEEDED!'s Story

Bear is a senior, aged around 10+ years, who we rescued from a Los Angeles area shelter, where she clearly had some medical issues with unknown sores on her elbows.
We took care of her medical needs (she does have sarcoma - cancer - and has had surgery to remove the tumor) but we feel she likely has a couple of years of good life left ahead of her, and would like to find her perhaps a forever home or a hospice foster home (or 'forever' foster home, which means the rescue would still cover her medical costs).

She would do best in a home with no other pets .
She does not like fast movers so probably no children . But once she settles in and gets to know you- she is a love bug!!! She loves walks !!
Uses a dog door - but likes to lay around inside. She has not destroyed anything.
She needs a home that loves her and gives her the best last few years - and someone who is “ relaxed” .
She is a picky eater, both back legs have torn ACL’s BUT you would never know it!!
She has pain meds BUT we have never used them . We would say it would be best to have a little yard or someone who is willing to do 2-3 short walks a day. No hiking or running ?? Someone with patience and who does not mind Bear just doing her own thing and being quiet.
She is her own woman who needs to be loved for her!
She is NOT a fast biter. BUT will try if scared, ( going to vet- we muzzle) or if in pain.

Contact us for more information.
Her current foster home is in Gardnerville, Nevada.

info@twodogfarms.com

Visit our website to read more about our foster program and to complete a foster application form:

www.twodogfarms.com/foster
