Bear's Story

**Bear will go up for adoption Friday October 2nd at 1 PM. We do not hold animals, and all adoptions are first come-first serve. If more than one person is here at the same time wanting the same animal, a random drawing will be held between approved applicants.**

Meet Bear!
This adorable little pooch is a 3 month old male Great Pyrenees mix. With that face and that fluff, you can't help falling in love!
Bear is here through no fault of his own due to a family member in his previous home being allergic. They were extremely heartbroken to give him up, but they knew he deserved a home that would be a better fit for him.
Bear is such a goofy little guy! He's everything you would expect from a puppy. He's playful, curious, and very snuggly! At only three months old, he is already a very big boy, so we expect him to be extra-large when fully grown. We ask all potential adopters to keep this in mind when considering applying for Bear. With his size he is not going to make a good apartment dog, as he will require more room than that. Also, like with any puppy, he is going to need a dedicated home that will spend the proper time training him. He is not housebroken and doesn't know any commands, but he is at the perfect age to teach. His coat is long and gorgeous, and his owner will need to help him keep it groomed so he stays looking and feeling his best!
Bear has lived with kids, cats, and other dogs before and got along with them all. From what we've seen at the shelter he seems like a very easy-going dude, and he's just happy to be included in the fun.
Bear has received his first round of vaccinations and will soon be ready to meet his forever family! If you think he could be your next best friend, then don't wait - come out and meet him today!
