Bear CP's Story
Meet Bear — Your New Favorite Cuddle Monster
2.5 years old | 90 lbs of husky love | Low-energy legend

If you’ve ever wanted a husky without the husky-level chaos, Bear is your guy. This big, fluffy lovebug is basically a bear-shaped couch potato with occasional zoomie sprinkles. He enjoys leisurely strolls, short bursts of play, and then returning to his true calling: professional lounging.

Bear’s favorite things include:
Toy balls (10/10 obsession)
Bully sticks (will work for snacks and knows sit and shake)
Giving the best “bear hugs”
Cuddling like a lap dog — despite being 90 lbs
Napping… then napping some more
Has the big paws of a boxer

Bear is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives. He’s potty trained, though since he was fixed later in life, we’re still polishing up the occasional marking habit — nothing some consistency and patience can’t handle. He’s been in a foster home five days and is already improved!

This gentle giant is great with dogs of all sizes, people, and kids. Due to his size (and enthusiastic love), we recommend kids 10 and up. When he gets really excited, his inner puppy comes out with a bit of happy mouthiness and boxing paws— just part of his goofy charm. He will talk to you as well. Out and about he has done great with kids of all ages.

Bear spends most of his day relaxing, but he does enjoy a daily walk to support his current weight loss journey. Chasing a squeaky ball in the yard also helps get his steps in. It must squeak! Let’s just say… he’s a little too bear-shaped and working on his summer bod.

If you’re looking for a low-energy husky with maximum personality, cuddles, and comedic value, Bear is ready to waddle into your heart and onto your couch.

** Bear is a courtesy post for The George Pack Sanctuary. He is currently in a foster home with us. They will provide all documentation and communication after the application process.**
