To put it simply, this boy is as cute as a button and as sweet as you could ever ask for.<br/>Bear is a gorgeous 4-year-old Newfoundland / Poodle mix (Newfiedoodle) who weighs in at a handsome 85 pounds. He has a heart of gold and a face you can't help but smile at!<br/><br/> Bear's Perfect Home:<br/>Because we want Bear and his future family to succeed, we are looking for a specific environment for him. Bears ideal home will be an adult-only home OR a home with older children (ages 10 and up).<br/><br/>A Note on Bears Ideal Match: Bear was surrendered because his previous family noted he could become possessive of his people, which became difficult to manage with small children and a constant stream of visitors. While Bear has been an absolute perfect gentleman since arriving at the rescue, we want to respect his history and ensure he is set up for success in a calm, structured environment.<br/><br/> The Quick Facts:<br/>* Breed: Newfoundland / Poodle Mix (Newfiedoodle)<br/>* Age: 4 years old<br/>* Weight: 85 lbs<br/>* Health: Neutered, fully current on all of his shots, and heartworm negative!<br/>Bear is a wonderful, loving dog who just needs a family that understands his breed mix, can provide a little structure, and has plenty of room for 85 pounds of pure affection.<br/><br/> Ready to Welcome Bear?<br/>If you have a quiet, loving home and want a loyal best friend by your side, Bear is waiting for you! This is due to the large size of pups and the safety of your children. Our pups are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily and he already has a history with smaller children. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $600.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Our pups can not tolerate the Texas heat.

In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. We also require a fully fence yard at least 4 ft tall.
