BEAR's Story

PLEASE READ THIS BIO COMPLETELY, and if interested, inquire by email to:

aboutrescuedogs@aol.com

if you meet the qualifications we are requiring for this dog.

Absolutely adorable little BEAR is a 7 pound, 9 year old Pomeranian...who brings a smile to everyone's face wherever he goes. He loves getting attention and affection from his people.

He loves to be outside in this beautiful weather and having a fenced yard for his safety and enjoyment is desired. He gets along fine with the small breed foster dogs in his temporary home.

He was surrendered by his loving owner who could not afford the vet care he needed. We found crystals in his urine and he is on Royal Canin Urinary SO. We are working with him on his housetraining with foster mom home with him during the day to keep him on a schedule.

BEAR Is neutered and microchipped, and had his blood panel and fecal checked, had a much needed dental cleaning with extensive extractions, had his distemper combination with lepto, bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, and is heartworm negative and is on heartworm/flea preventative. He had a full body x-ray that showed no problems and can be emailed to a new owner.

If you meet the above requirements and think your home is the one for BEAR, the first step is to contact us by email (NOT using the Petfinder link as we have difficulty receiving those inquiries) so send the email to:

aboutrescuedogs@aol.com

AND tell us about your family situation and explain why you think your home would be a good match for BEAR. Also please include your name, address, and phone number in the email. We will also require the name and phone number of your vet clinic as a reference so phone ahead and advise them we will be calling.

If BEAR appears online as adoptable, he is still available.

BEAR will be shown at a meet and greet after approved application completion. His adoption fee is $400 to help offset all his needed veterinary care and includes (all new) collar, leash, harness, toys, crate, prescription food, and more!

Thanks for wanting to "Rescue One!"
