Bear's Story
Meet Bear, a large and handsome brown shepherd mix with a docked bob tail and a big presence to match. At 3 years old, Bear is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start a new chapter in a home of his own.

Bear came to us as a stray after spending years loose and wandering on the streets. Now, he is ready for a more stable and structured life where he can truly settle in and feel secure.

He enjoys going on walks and does well on a leash, making him a great companion for someone who likes to get outside and explore. Bear is an active, strong dog who will benefit from continued guidance and routine.

Bear may do well with another friendly dog his size, though a meet and greet at the shelter after an approved application is required to ensure everyone gets along. He will also require a very secure yard, as he has a history of escaping enclosures. Due to his size and tendency to jump up when excited, he would do best in a home with older children who can safely interact with him.

Bear is looking for an experienced and committed owner who can provide structure, consistency, and a safe environment. With the right home, Bear has the potential to leave his wandering days behind and become a loyal and devoted companion.
