Bear's Story

Meet Bear!

Bear is about 4-5 years old and he came to us after our local shelter closed their doors. He was left behind so our team stepped in to help.

Bear is a sweet guy and he bonds strongly to his person. While we aren't sure his breed mix, we suspect there is some Rottweiler in there as he has a lot of Rottie like tendencies.

Bear is housebroken, crate trained, loves working for food, and does great with other dogs. Bear lived with a trainer for a while where he learned how to be the goodest boy - she took him everywhere and he was a perfect gentleman!

Bear is wonderful on the leash, knows several useful cues, he's great for things like grooming, and loves riding in the car. He can be a bit skeptical when he first meets new people - especially if they come on strong, so he'll need an owner who will advocate for him around strangers to help him continue to build confidence in the world.

If you are interested in adopting Bear, you can apply at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRRA/Dog
