Meet Bear!<br/><br/>Bear is a beautiful 5-6 year old Norweigian Elkhound recently surrendered to NAPR. True to her breed she is smart, friendly, and loyal!<br/>They make great family dogs!<br/><br/>Bear loves attention and will nudge with her head for face pets!<br/>Bear loves car rides, is great in public settings, and walks wonderfully on a leash! She knows a couple of basic commands bur she's a quick learner and very treat motivated!<br/><br/>Bear is currently living with other dogs, both big and very small in her foster home. She is friendly with everyone, including children!<br/><br/>Bear is anot a fan of a crate, but she doesn't need to be crated. She is a very good girl! She is completely potty trained and is not destructive. She also stays off the furniture.<br/>She has learned the house routine quickly, making her an easy girl to add to a pack, or to integrate into a schedule as an only pet.<br/><br/>Bear needs to lose about 10 pounds, but is currently working on trimming down! She will require regular brushing to keep up with shedding, but she absolutely loves it!<br/><br/>Bear is a wonderful dog!
