Bear

Bear is a rescue favorite. Sure he is just a baby and has a lot of time to grow into his personality…but for now, he is the most sweetest, gentle, loving boy we ever did meet. He has been through so much in his short life. We almost lost Bear to an unknown illness that claimed the lives of 3 of his siblings. Despite bloodwork and fecal testing, the vets were stumped what could have caused the illness. Bear was hit hard and it took him weeks to regain his strength and health back. He is still on the mend, but well enough for us to start the process of looking for his perfect family. As you know, Collies and shelties are herders. They are working dogs and would love a job to do. Herders can often mean they have a tendency to nip. This trait can be off putting to some families, especially those with smaller children, so we must make sure he is in a home that understands his breed. Please understad we take this part very seriously when it comes to certain breeds. We don’t want them returned for unwanted behaviors so please do your research to make sure this is the best breed for you and you’re family. Bear is an incredible boy who has been resilient and strong his whole little life. He is one of a kind and whoever ends up his family will be the luckiest in the world.
