Bear's Story
Bear is a very special dog who is friendly, outgoing, loyal, and served as his family's watchful guardian.

Bear's family loved him very much, but due to a housing situation beyond their control, Bear has to come to SRAS.

His former owners said that Bear seemed to have a sixth sense and would alert them when he didn't like a visitor (this is the guardian breed DNA at work) but was never aggressive.

He's house trained, well-mannered, and knows several commands including sit, down, and come.

He LOVES his kennel, playing fetch, all foods (if you leave it in his reach, it's fair game).

Bear is a simple dude...he doesn't need a blanket or a bed (he seems them as chew toys!) and would love to chill on your floor.

He does really well with small dogs, but bigger dogs make him a little more stand offish.
