Born 10/31/22 Bear is a male Shepherd mix seeking a forever home. Here is a little bit about him: he currently weighs 73 lbs. He loves to run and be active and would thrive with a home that includes him in family fun. He would do best in a home with no small animals (for example: cats and chickens). He is allergic to chicken and brown rice. His favorite snacks are beef knuckle bones and bully sticks. He loves water of any kind. He is timid around loud noises. He loves to cuddle and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, leave it. Bear is kennel trained and a big fan of chew toys! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
