Bear's Story
Meet Bear Bear is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix (52 lbs) who is ready for a fresh start after being surrendered. While change hasn't been easy for him, Bear is slowly showing just how sweet and gentle he truly is. He can be a little shy at first, but with patience and a calm approach, his personality begins to shine. As he gets more comfortable, Bear warms up and enjoys being around his people. He has been friendly with staff, walks well on a leash, and already knows how to sit- he's just waiting for someone to help him continue building his confidence. Bear does well with other dogs, and a meet and greet is always recommended for homes with existing pets to ensure the best fit. He would thrive in a calm, patient home that will give him the time, understanding, and encouragement he needs to fully come out of his shell and feel secure. In the right environment, Bear has all the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. Bear is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $125. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal dog and are willing to give him the time he deserves, Bear could be the perfect match.
