Bear's Story

**Requires another playful dog in home! No exceptions!**

Meet Bear. A gentle boy with a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes.

Bear is a 1-year-old mixed breed weighing around 50 pounds, with a gorgeous brindle coat and the sweetest personality. And honestly? Bear is pretty close to the perfect dog.

He’s calm, easy-going, and happy to simply be wherever his people are. He loves belly rubs, lounging by your side, and enjoying the simple things in life. He’s wonderful with kids and comfortable with both men and women.

This boy has a pretty impressive résumé already! He walks beautifully on a leash, uses the doggie door, and is potty trained. He’s kenneled when his people are away and settles in nicely. He loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, adores his pond, and is equally happy lounging inside or sunbathing outside.

Bear is also dog- and cat-friendly! While he’s perfectly happy to lounge around with his people, his ideal home would be an active one where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime. A fenced yard where he can run and play would be a huge bonus, and we’d love for him to have a doggy friend to play with, too!

He really doesn’t ask for much—just a loving family, a comfy place to nap, some toys to play with, and plenty of belly rubs. At just one year old, Bear has so much life ahead of him, and we can’t wait to see him get the happy ending he deserves.
Bear truly is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how he hasn’t been scooped up already. He’s ready for his forever family. Could that be you?

Located in College Station/Bryan, TX
Apply today to adopt Bear at linktr.ee/zoisanimalrescue!
