Bear's Story

Hi, I’m Bear

I’m a 7-year-old good boy who found himself here through no fault of my own. I spent my whole life with my person, and when tragedy struck, there was suddenly no one left to take care of me. It’s been a lot to process, so I might seem a little shy at first—but please give me a moment. Once I feel safe, you’ll see the cuddly teddy bear I truly am.

I love being close to my people. Cuddles are my specialty, kisses are my love language, and playing with my rope toy is one of my favorite ways to have fun. I’m a pretty polite guy too—I know how to sit, wait, and hop off the furniture when asked. I’m kennel trained, do very well going potty outside, and I try very hard to be the best housemate I can be.

Treats? Yes please! I’m very food motivated and really enjoy learning new tricks, especially when it means spending time together. I grew up around children and would be so happy to meet yours and become part of your family.

I’ve been through a lot lately, but my heart is still wide open. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just needs a little time and a lot of love, I’m right here waiting.

We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
