Bear

Hi my name is Bear! I'm just 4 months old and already a gem! I just came into this shelter - my owner couldn't keep me. I have been wormed, treated for fleas (which I do not have!) and have been given my distemper and rabies shots, as well as have been neutered and have my microchip implant. Today is the first day at my new foster home and already I have hit it off with their 3 dogs and 2 cats! And I am great friends with the dogs here! LOVE to run and play so be prepared!!! I've also been around children, and I love to play with them as well. We are working on potty training - I go to the door when I need to go out and we haven't had too many accidents! I am a brown/black/tan mix of colors - very unique! And we aren't sure just what kind of mix I am - maybe basset hound, but for sure dachshund!<br/><br/>Here's an update - we have been working with Bear on invisible fence training and he is just awesome - we've only had him just shy of 2 weeks and he already stays within the fence! Smart little guy here!! We think Bear should be able to grow old with a wonderful family with lots of love and attention to give him - will it be you?
