Bear's Story

Meet Bear!

With his breathtaking chestnut, hazelnut, reddish-brown coat and soulful eyes, Bear is the kind of puppy who turns heads everywhere he goes. At 7 months old and around 40 pounds (expected to be about 55 pounds full grown), hes blossoming into an incredible companion with all the makings of an amazing family dog.

Bear didnt have the easiest start to life. He spent his first several months living in a concrete backyard with his siblings and had very little exposure to the outside world. Despite that, hes proving every single day that love, patience, and consistency can work miracles.

His foster says Bear is overflowing with potentialand its easy to see why.

Hes an incredibly smart, sensitive, and affectionate boy who genuinely wants to learn. Hes already crate trained, doing wonderfully with his training, and has mastered sit and fetch. Hes even learning his name! Bear is highly food motivated, making him an excellent candidate for positive reinforcement training, and hell thrive with a family committed to helping him continue building confidence and learning new skills.

Bear adores other dogs, is cat friendly, loves children, and has never met a stranger. His favorite toys are balls and stuffed animals, and one of his cutest quirks is that he will actually sit and watch TV with you.

Around the house, Bear is happiest soaking up the simple things in lifeshort walks, lounging in the shade on a sunny day, and rolling onto his back for belly rubs any chance he gets. Like any puppy, he has little bursts of playful energy, but they dont last long. After a minute or two of zoomies and fun, hes usually ready to flop over for cuddles.

Hes making great progress with house training. While hes still learning how to let his people know when he needs to go outside, hell thoughtfully seek out a pee pad if he cant make it outdoors.

As a young Doodle, Bear will require regular grooming. He appears to be low to non-shedding, although we cant guarantee it since we never met his father.

Bears dream home is with an active family that has a house with a securely fenced backyard and the time to continue his training, socialization, and adventures. Hes the perfect age to learn, eager to please, and has all the ingredients to become an exceptional lifelong companion.

Bear has already come so far. Now hes just waiting for the family who will help him discover how wonderful life can truly be.

Could that family be yours?

Adoption fee is 550
