Bear's Story
Introducing Bear!

**Adoption Fee Sponsored 100%**

Like her namesake she is fuzzy and black and will raid your pantry for peanut butter & cheese, but unlike most bears she is housetrained, knows sit, down and shake. She may or may not fetch a ball depending on her mood and if anything else more exciting is going on.

Our favorite thing about her is her expressive ears, sometimes floppy, sometimes point at 12 and 3 o'clock, sometimes 6 and 9, and for really interesting noises, stand straight up at attention.

This black lab mix is about 1 1/2 years old with a birthdate of 01/20/2025 and she weighs about 60lbs.

Bear has a lot of FOMO (fear of missing out)and really wants to be apart of whatever is going on. She will probably check on you in the bathroom, she will definitely join your neighborhood watch, and wants to be included in yard work, pizza parties, or whatever else you might have going on.

Bear has lived with other dogs, and we think she'd really like a friend to play with. We've been told she chases cats and plays too rough, so no kitties would be best in her new home. She has prior experience with kids and because she takes treats gently and isn't particularly jumpy we think she would be fine with kids of all ages.

If a floppy eared, Bear-el full of fun sounds like the perfect pooch wiggle over to our website www.hsmcohio.org and fill out an adoption application to meet her.
