Beanie's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ATDR 3924Meet Mr. Bean or as his closer friends call him, 'Beanie.' Found wandering the streets in the RGV, this handsome boy met his savior while running down the feeder of the freeway. The stranger didn't hesitate but scooped him up and cared for him until a search for his humans was exhausted. The family brought him to ATDR the first week of November and Mr. Bean joined the pack! He is happy and polite with other dogs, he has clearly be around all kinds of pups in his approximately 11 years of life. Our vet aged him as a senior and he has most of his teeth, so he has had some dental care over the years! He was a little thin indicating he might have been a stray for a little while, but mostly he is in great shape. Beanie tested a very light heartworm positive, like he might have missed a dose or two, but we are taking care of that and he will be available to foster or adoption in a very short time! Please consider this handsome gentleman for the loving home that he deserves!
