Its hard to believe Bean was almost never given the chance to become someone's dog.<br/><br/>Bean is about 1 year old and was rescued from a high-kill shelter the same day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She had gotten sick twice in the shelter and, despite being young, friendly, and incredibly adoptable, she ran out of time. Looking at her now, its almost impossible to understand because Bean absolutely LOVES being alive.<br/><br/>She's 30 lbs. of pure personality: goofy, affectionate, curious, and full of the hilarious puppy energy that earned her the nickname Jumping Bean. She loves people, is great with kids and other dogs, and wants to play, make friends, chase a ball, carry around her toys, and be included in everything. Once she finally runs out of Bean energy, she melts into you for affection and becomes a professional napper.<br/><br/>Bean is also incredibly smart and treat-motivated. She knows sit, down, stay, come, spin, paw, place, crate & free, and loves learning new things. She's still young and enthusiastic, so shell thrive with someone excited to continue her training and give that busy little brain plenty to do.<br/><br/>She came far too close to missing out on this life.
