Bean's Story
Bean is a super sweet dog and loves to be around his people once he trusts them; he can be initially shy but if you go slow are patient with him, he will hop around in excitement to see you. He is doing well with housetraining as long as he's taken out to the yard for regular breaks. Bean is nervous after ending up in shelter care; loud noises and being alone make him nervous. He arrived in shelter care heavily matted with ear infections and is still a bit sensitive about his ears and back end. He welcomes pets on his head and chest. Bean is leash-trained and enjoys a leisurely 30-minute walk with lots of opportunities to sniff!

Bean was transferred to Valley Humane on 1/14 from the Tri-City Animal Shelter. He had been found stray. Bean weighs 10 pounds and is a young adult dog (estimated to be aged between 1 and 4 years).

Do you have questions about this animal or are you ready to take the next step to adoption?
