Bean's Story

Meet Bean! If you are interested in a medium size dog, he's your guy!
Good with other dogs? Check.
Adorable instagram-worthy quirks? Check.
Positive history with cats? Check.
Housebroken and crate trained? Check and check.
Ears for days? Triple check.
Perfect size for a condo or HOA? Check.
Bean doesn't just need a home, he needs his own Instagram account. If the word 'enthusiasm' had four paws and a snoot like a racoon, it would be Bean. He loves walkies. He's good with other dogs. Cuddles? He's all in. Sneak smooches when you're sitting together? He's a kissin' ninja. And strangers? The word doesn't exist in his vocabulary. You're obviously just on the planet to hang with Bean so he's psyched to meet you.

And we haven't even mentioned the spinnies yet. Oh. My. Lawd. The spinnies.

Time for a walk? Spinnies. Dinner? Spinnies. Anything happy or exciting? Spinnies and spinnies and spinnies. Do you see why we're so spun out over him? Shouldn't you be too?

Hims a happy bubba who's good with pretty much anything. His only request? This gent dines solo. No big deal, he just prefers dining away from other pets as he didn't grow up with access to food so for him a meal is a moment of deep and private joy not to be shared. You call it the bathroom, he calls it the dining room. Everyone's happy. So happy that honestly, we could all spin with him.

Looks a bit like a trash panda but is a cuddle muffin and full on party on paws. Why are you still reading this? You know you want him.

Bean's adoption fee has been sponsored, so no fee to adopt him!

If interested in adopting Bean, please fill out an application at lpah.org/adoption.

Lending Paws A Hand's Adoption Policy
Adoptions are $200 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies (under 5 months), $100 for adult cats, and $175 for kittens (under 5 months). We also have hero pets. These pets are a more desirable breed and their adoption fee is $300. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (if they are too young an appointment will be made when they become of age). LPAH is a foster based rescue which means our animals are placed in a loving foster home while they wait to find their forever home! If you are interested in applying for any of our adoptable animals, please fill out an application at lpah.org/adoption or via the link on this page and we can set up a time for you to meet your potential new best friend! Because we are foster based, we only adopt out to the states of NC, SC, and VA. Puppies and kittens are a smaller adoption range, as they are required to have remaining vetting prior to adoption finalization. If interested in fostering for us, learn more at lpah.org/foster-for-us
