Beaker- Available- Special Needs

Beaker needs a forever family! This 8 year old adorable Italian Greyhound was originally brought into rescue in 2016 and to date has no prospects of a forever family on the horizon. Adopted out in 2018, through no fault of his own, he was surrendered back to rescue in 2021 due to divorce. He may be a heartbreaker but he’s no home wrecker!!! ? <br/>Because he was a formerly neglected mill dog originating from a deplorable situation he does have some quirks, much like his namesake Beaker, from the Muppets! (If you’re in your early 20s you may locate Beaker the Muppet videos on YouTube in order to get the reference. YouTube is the video sharing site that existed before TikTok but it’s not as old as a rotary phone.) Beaker spooks easily and is a more independent iggy outside of the 4th of July, New Years Eve, or during any given thunderstorm at which point he transitions into the cuddly needy Velcro type of iggy we are all used to!? <br/>He is the cutest boy with a very expressive face. Very well behaved and he just needs somebody to give him a real chance at a forever home. While he is very kind and patient no young children are preferred because he does spook easily. Beaker also prefers a fenced in yard but we would encourage challenging him with regular walks in a quiet park or neighborhood once he has grown accustomed to his new home and person or family. <br/>We truly hope there is somebody out there with a heart big enough for Beaker. 6 years is a long time to wait for a forever home and he is often overlooked because of his appearance and personality. Will you be the one to give Beaker a chance?
