Bea's Story

**Meet Bea - A Loyal Heart Waiting to Bloom**

Bea is a beautiful 3-year-old mixed breed with a one-of-a-kind heritage-part Cattle Dog, part Terrier, part Shepherd, and part Super Mutt! At approximately 65 pounds, she's the perfect size for adventures by day and cuddles by night.

Bea likes to take her time getting to know new people, but once she decides you're a friend, you're in her heart forever. As her confidence grows, her playful, affectionate personality shines. She loves belly rubs, soaking up pets, giving sweet kisses, and will gently place her paw on you when she'd like a little more attention.

She loves going for walks and has excellent leash manners. She's also learned to enjoy car rides and now rides quietly. Bea has made incredible progress with her confidence and happily greets both people and dogs while out walking. She absolutely loves other dogs-young or old, big or small-and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to wrestle, chase, and do zoomies with. Without a dog friend, she's content to lounge around waiting for her people.

Bea is house-trained and has excellent manners in the home. She sleeps in her crate at night with the door open and often chooses to nap there during the day because it's her safe space. She also has an adorable quirk-she likes to hide out in the bathroom and has even figured out how to close the door with her foot! When she's not relaxing in her favorite spots, you'll find her happily cuddled up on the couch beside her favorite person.

Like many sensitive dogs, Bea isn't a fan of windy days or loud noises. When it's windy, she'd much rather stay close to you than venture out on her own. A patient adopter who understands her gentle nature will help her continue to build confidence.

Bea has come such a long way and continues to blossom every day. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will reward your patience with unwavering devotion, Bea is ready to fill your home-and your heart-with love.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

You could be a life saver!
Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
