Bea's Story
Located in South Carolina — transport available to many states**

Sweet Bea had been waiting in a South Carolina shelter when someone we knew asked us to pull Bea and she would foster her. But on the very night she was supposed to be transported, that foster backed out — leaving Bea with nowhere to go and just hours from being sent back to the shelter.

Thankfully, our amazing foster mom Jerrie stepped up without hesitation and saved the day. Because of her, Bea finally got her second chance — and we are so, so grateful.

Now that Bea’s settled in, we’ve learned she’s a loving, playful, and affectionate girl who gets along well with other pups, especially smaller dogs. She is a little nervous when around dogs her size or larger so gradual introductions are recommended. She weighs about 40–45 lbs, is 2 1/2 years old, is housebroken, and crate trained.

Bea has been hanging out with our foster moms grandchildren Ages 3 and 7 and doing phenomenal. Heelers do or can have the tendency to nip at heels, they are a herding breed afterall so we just recommend gradual introductions until she gets used to them but she is absolutely adoring kids!

Bea is a sweetheart who just needs the right family to help her shine.

**Transport an additional $125 and health certificate an additoinal $50**
