He was exploring our swamps to find inspiration for his novel and happened across Bayou. Bayou was dumped with a large bag of puppy food and left behind miles from any type of civilization. He was lucky to be found. Initially Bayou was unsure and shy but he bonds quickly and loves attention and people. He's young, likely 10 months old and still acts very much like a puppy. Thankfully Bayou is heartworm negative. He loves playing in our play groups with other dogs his size. He will need an adopter who has time for training as we don't know what he experienced before being dumped.
