Bayou is a 16-month-old Rottweiler who is about as goofy as they come. <br/><br/>Bayou didn't have the easiest start. After being dumped in New Mexico, he was hit by a car and spent much of his puppyhood recovering and undergoing surgeries. While other puppies his age were busy learning about the world, Bayou was focused on healing, but those days are behind him now. This boy has fully recovered, and he's ready to make up for lost time! <br/><br/>Because Bayou spent so much of his puppyhood in recovery, he still has the mentality of a much younger puppy—think six-month-old puppy brain in a big Rottweiler body. He's silly, bouncy, curious, and still figuring out how the world works. Bayou is also slow to mature, so his future family will need to bring plenty of patience, realistic expectations, and, most importantly, a really good sense of humor!<br/><br/>Bayou is crate trained, potty trained, and does well with other animals.
