With guidance, exercise, and lots of love, hes sure to become an amazing companion.<br/><br/>UPDATE JUNE 2026<br/><br/>Baymax is thriving with his foster family and continues to make wonderful progress every day! Hes learning how to walk nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring the neighborhood as well as taking walks through Astoria Park.<br/>One of Baymaxs favorite activities is meeting new people and dogs. Hes become quite the social butterfly and loves making friends wherever he goes. He especially enjoys visits to the local pet store, where he gets the chance to run around freely in their patio area and socialize with both canine and human companions.<br/><br/>As a newer city dog, Baymax is still adjusting to all the sights, sounds, and activity that come with urban life. The city noises and crowds can be a little overwhelming at times, but he is slowly becoming more comfortable and confident with each outing.<br/><br/>At home, Baymax is a total cuddle bug. He loves snuggling with his foster family and is always happy to settle in with his favorite toys and chew treats. When he first arrived, he was quick to bark at every sound he heard in the building, but he has become much more relaxed and comfortable in his surroundings. These days, he rarely barks at all.<br/><br/>Baymax is also doing great with his crate training. He settles in nicely and has mastered the art of enjoying a good nap after mealsespecially when treats are involved!<br/><br/>Overall, Baymax is a happy, affectionate, and playful boy who continues to blossom in foster care. He brings joy to everyone he meets and is proving to be a wonderful companion.
