Baylor's Story

Baylor ?

I've gotten to know Baylor the past month and what a very sweet, mellow, just mush of a boy.
Baylor is a mix breed around 55-60lbs and has a big ole block head. He's a big baby and can't be convinced that he isnt lap dog sized. Hes done very well with the 3 medium-large breed dogs hes been interacting with here. I'm not sure how he is with cats or small dogs. Baylor does well lon a leash but needs to learn to not pull so hard still. He knows sit, and listens very intently when you have treats. He gets the most excited about food time, he LOVES food and doesn't turn down anything. He is very treat motivated and eager to learn and please. I do believe that he is house broken or very close to it! He is neutered, microchipped, itd on vaccines, deworming and flea treatment. Baylor is wrapping up his heartworm treatment as he did come to us heartworm positive when we originally took him in. Baylor was pulled for Memphis shelters euthanasia list where he almost didn't make it. I can't imagine this sweet boy being euthanized because of something like space. He deserves such a good home and we will make sure he finds that

Baylor is being fostered in Cosby Tennessee and we do adopt out of the state ?

Foxy Family Rescue's Adoption Policy
Prior to meeting our animals we require you to be an approved adopter. In order to be approved you will first need to fill out our application which you'll need to ask for. I will review it, if your vet references check out and you seem like a good fit we will then set up a virtual meet and greet prior to a in person meet and greet. During the virtual meet and greet we will want to see a bit of your home and any of your current pets. If that checks out you can meet the animal in person and take home the same day. At the time of adoption, you will pay fees and sign our return contract. Cats will be adopted into inside only homes.
