Baxter's Story

This cute little guy is anxious to find a perfect home. He is about a year old. He is very friendly. He arrived here with his sister, and she has now been adopted. So, it is his turn! He is fully vaccinated, neutered and very healthy. He is a Chihuahua mix with a lot of playful energy. Baxter loves his toys and enjoys his time in the play yards. Of course, a lap is always a nice place for him to sit, too. <br/><br/>Come by to meet him at our shelter. We are open to visitors Tues-Sat; 10-2:30. If you like each other, you can complete an application when you are here. Please note that we do not process same day adoptions.

C.A.R.E.'s Adoption Policy

C.A.R.E. requires confirmation from your vet that all current (and prior pets) are up-to-date on vaccinations and Heartworm prevention (dogs). Meet and greets (dogs) will be performed by our shelter volunteers/staff at the shelter after the vet check. Landlord contact will be made upon receipt of application. All family members should come to the shelter to meet the animal prior to adoption.
