**Meet Baxter - those eyes will get you every time! **<br/><br/>Baxter came to us as a tiny pup with an injured eye that needed a little extra TLC. We got him all fixed up, and today his vision is just fine. But that eye may have left him with one very special feature-Baxter has the most incredible, piercing eyes that look almost human. We're pretty sure he can see right into your soul!<br/><br/>This handsome black terrier-type boy weighs about **13.6 pounds** and is a wonderful combination of playful, affectionate and well-mannered. Baxter is **potty trained, sleeps through the night**, and gets along great with **kids and other dogs**. He does think chasing cats is a fun game, but he doesn't hurt them and listens when he's told to stop.<br/><br/>And then there's bedtime. Baxter is an expert snuggler and would be very happy sleeping right beside his person-preferably with **his own pillow**, thank you very much!<br/><br/>Baxter was adopted as a young puppy and recently came back to us through no fault of his own. His adopter's life became very busy, leaving Baxter alone more than was ideal for this social little guy. He's ready now to find the home that will truly be his forever.<br/><br/>Baxter would love a home with another friendly dog to keep him company, but he'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only if he has a person who is home quite a bit and wants a little shadow by their side.<br/><br/>He loves to play, loves to snuggle, and most of all, **Baxter loves being with his people.**<br/><br/>He really is just a very, very nice boy looking for someone who has room in their home-and on their pillow-for him.
