If you are interested in ADOPTING from the EDISON ANIMAL SHELTER, please email the shelter manager, Becky Snyder at rsnyder@edisonnj.org and she will send you an application to fill out and discuss potentially setting up a meeting. The subject of the email should be "Adoption - Pet's Name". Thank you. Be safe and stay healthy.

ADOPT ME! Say hello to Baxter. He is a 3-year-old male retriever mix who really loves to go for walks outdoors and play ball. He would make a wonderful pet for someone who is active. Baxter would love to go to the park or maybe become your running partner.

He does not like other animals, so he does NEED to be the ONLY pet in the home. He also needs some training as he will try to be the boss. For that reason, we are asking that he go to an adult-only, experienced adopter.

All of our shelter dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption.
