This 3-year-old lovebug is the total package: affectionate, smart, playful, and always ready to charm you with his big, happy smile.<br/><br/>Baxter already knows all the good stuff — sit, down, come, stay, shake a paw, and drop the toy — and he’s always eager to show off his skills. He’s especially motivated when his favorite thing is involved: TOYS! He enjoys them all, but balls are his absolute favorite. He’s a playful guy who still has a bit of that puppy energy, so he can get a little jumpy and rambunctious at times. For that reason, he’d do best in a home with adults only or older kids who can handle his enthusiasm.<br/><br/>Baxter needs to be in a home where he is the only dog. He could potentially have some dog friends outside of his home, but in his palace he would like to be the only king. At heart, he’s a total sucky boy who just wants love, attention, and a big, comfy bed to lounge on when playtime is over.<br/><br/>He does have some skin issues that we’re currently treating, but it doesn’t stop him from soaking up affection or enjoying life to the fullest.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, and ridiculously sweet companion, Baxter might just be your guy.
