Baxter's Story
Meet Baxter! Baxter lived his entire life on a chain with very little attention from his humans. When you first meet Baxter, you may notice he has an awkward stance he looks like he is in mid-sit with his back legs too far forward. This is due to the chain being wrapped around his legs and his humans doing nothing to help him get untangled. Baxter is in a loving foster home and doing great. So far, he loves everyone one he meets except cats. Baxter and his foster mom walk daily which his helping build strength in his rear legs. Hes walking two miles in a very short time. Baxter is around 2 years old, weighs approximately 35-40lbs and up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Baxter received basic training in January from Dog Busters in Dacula thanks to donations from two lovely ladies. In order for Baxter to practice what he learned, Dog Busters will give his adoptive family a free training session and refresher for Baxter. Practice makes perfect!! Baxter is crate and house trained. He is still a young pup, so make sure he has toys of his own to keep him occupied when youre not home. If youd like to adopt sweet and deserving Baxter, please complete an adoption application at www.dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org Adopt me page.
