Batty Bandito

Meet Batty Bandito - The Little Bat Who Steals Hearts, Not Candy!

Holy bat ears, Batman! Have you ever seen a more adorable pair of ears? Meet Batty Bandito, a 4-year-old, 19 lb Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix with ears so big we're pretty sure he can pick up radio signals from the next parish!

But behind those magnificent bat wings is a little guy with a story to tell. Batty was one of many dogs rescued from an extremely large hoarding case in Louisiana. The dogs were dispersed among several shelters, and like so many animals coming from these situations, Batty is still learning that the world doesn't have to be such a scary place.

Our little Bandito may not swoop into your arms on the first introduction. He's a bit reserved and cautious around new people, but give him some patience, kindness, and a little time, and you'll discover the sweetest little heart hiding beneath those oversized ears!

He's already showing us that he's quite the lap-loving little gentleman who enjoys affection once he feels safe. He also appears to be dog-friendly, which is another wonderful quality we're discovering as he settles into his new surroundings.

Batty doesn't need a haunted mansion, a spooky castle, or even a bat cave. He just needs a loving home where he can feel safe, build his confidence, and finally experience the happiness every dog deserves.

This Halloween, forget the tricks!
