Bates's Story

Bates is a sweet, older gentleman with a friendly, affectionate, playful, and sometimes stubborn personality. He is a dignified dog who loves to make his own decisions, but is also very excitable, especially when it comes to walks and treats. He may be a bit independent, but he's also very gentle and loves to show his affection through cuddles and lots of kisses. Unfortunately, Bates has a limp in his back leg, which causes him to walk a bit slower than your average dog. The vet has assured us that it's nothing too serious, but it does require him to take it easy from time to time. Because of his slow pace, we think he'd do best in a quiet home where he won't have to walk up a lot of stairs. Despite his age, Bates is a very active dog who loves going on walks and playing with his favorite toy or chewy. Overall, Bates is a sweet and gentle soul who would love to find a quiet forever home where he can spend his golden years being loved and cared for. If you're looking for a best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Bates could be the perfect companion for you.

Please complete an application at www.texasoldenglishsheepdogrescue.com.
