Bat's Story
Name: Bat
Age: 2 years (as of 7/23/25)
Gender: Male
Weight: 25-30lbs
Breed: Jindo mix
Dog: Good with dogs
Cat: Not tested
Kids: Good with kids
Housebroken: In training
Ok in kennel: In training
Ok on leash: Ok on leash
Location: Currently part of our International Rescue Program

Brief Intro:

Meet Bat! Bat was abandoned with his mother under severe neglect and abuse. He was tied with a short metal chain and couldn’t even approach his mother. The surrounding area was covered in waste with a strong stench.
The person who kept Bat said it was “for dog meat consumption” as if it was normal. They didn’t provide proper food or water, only threw scraps and garbage. Bat’s life was one of survival, not love. But that life has ended. Bat is now free to walk on the ground and feel the warmth of human hands. He is cautiously learning about the world again. Despite all the pain and fear, Bat never lost his heart toward humans — he was just a little being wanting to be loved.

Bat is a boy who lives on love. He adores people so much that whenever someone comes near, he wags his tail excitedly and pulls back his ears, expressing his joy with his whole body. When a warm hand touches him, he quickly rolls onto his back and gently licks the hand as if to say, “I want to be loved, and I’m ready to love you too.”

Once, he was tied outside, never free to enjoy even a little liberty or the warmth of a human touch. But now he is discovering how vast and warm the world can be. Exploring new places and feeling the breeze during walks are like little miracles to Bat. He is pure innocence itself — gentle, affectionate, and once he opens his heart, he will trust and follow you deeply like no other.
Just look into Bat’s eyes once. He will show you how your day can be filled with warmth and love.

We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Bat is patiently waiting!

--

(NOTE: This dog is part of our international rescue program so process is a bit different.
