Basil

Basil is the sweetest tri-color hound mix you could ever meet. She is probably just over 1 year old, already spayed and is fairly petite, at about 35 lbs, and isn't really showing that typical 'hound dog' behavior ....that, plus the fact that she craves attention from other dogs and people alike and is play infatuated, might be the reason that she was found as a stray ....possibly the old saying "that dog won't hunt' applies to her and why she was 'dumped'. She was a little tentative when we first met her, but quickly realized that we weren't going to hurt her and she started looking for our attention and touch. Loves her treats and takes them gently, wanted to play with toys but couldn't figure out exactly how but immediately wanted to meet and get to know every dog she saw.
