BART's Story
Hi there — Iâ€ÂTMm Bart! A big, handsome mystery mix with the colors of a Rottweiler, maybe a German Shepherd… or possibly an Australian Kelpie. Your guess is as good as mine! All I know is I turned out pretty darn good-looking.When I first meet someone new, I like to play a little hard to get. I might give you my best “who, me?†shy glance and pretend Iâ€ÂTMm too cool for ear scratches — but donâ€ÂTMt let that fool you. Underneath my calm, cautious start is a total snuggle bug just waiting for the right person to earn my trust.I came to the shelter as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery. But Iâ€ÂTMm not one to dwell on old stories — Iâ€ÂTMm focused on the next chapter. Iâ€ÂTMm ready for a family who sees the soft side behind my handsome face and gives me a comfy couch (and maybe a squeaky toy or two).If youâ€ÂTMre looking for a loyal, affectionate buddy who might just need a moment to warm up before committing to full-on couch snuggles, I think weâ€ÂTMd make a perfect match.Love,BartThe Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
